School-age (Kindergarten to 6th grade):
Sites are located at elementary school and at the YMCA. Each day includes a variety of activities that are planned to further develop social skills and build confidence. Daily activities include: organized games, sports, arts & crafts and supervised homework time. We serve breakfast and an afternoon snack. Our school age programs integrate YMCA character values or respect, responsibility, caring and honesty.
State licensing ratio for school age is 1:14, however at the YMCA we strive to maintain a 1:10 ratio whenever possible.
