Teen Programs & Activities:
Teen Activity Center:
The YMCA Teen Center is available as a safe
gathering place for teens. Supervised and fun, the Teen Center is available in the
evening for teens to come and "hang out" with their peers.
Teen Center Hours: Monday through Friday 3:30 - 7:30
Youth & Government:
Youth & Government is a fun and exciting program involving more than
2,300 high school sophomores, juniors and seniors in a "hands on"
experience. By creating a mock California State Government, our
delegation will use a variety of activities to build, encourage and
strengthen those life assets and character traits that will help high
school youths become involved, responsible adults.

Nypum Dirt Bikes:
This exciting program uses outdoor adventure and the thrill of learning
to ride dirt bike motorcycles as an incentive for youth to improve their
lives. Through an essential mentoring component, riders will
develop self-esteem, strong values & decision making skills, all
centered around exciting and challenging activities. The NYPUM
Dirt Bike program is open to all youth ages 10-16.

Teen Leaders Club:
Leaders aren't born, they develop in the YMCA Teen Leaders Club!
This exclusive group of teens is empowered to make a difference in their
community. In addition to planning and running events in the YMCA
Teen Activity Center, the Teen Leaders Club will plan monthly community
service projects, fun activities and special events. We will use
weekly meetings to plan events and develop valuable leadership skills.
Program Date: Year Round
Teen Strength:
Get in shape while learning smart tips that will keep you healthy and
strong! Teens enrolled in this class learn how to work out safely
and independently. Open to all teens ages 13-17.

Teen Community Camp:
Summer camp for teenagers! At the YMCA's Teen Camp we challenge
teens to make a difference in the world. Teen Camp is designed to
include typical summer time activities such as swimming, games and trips
but also includes community service projects. In the past, Teen
Campers have mentored school age children, volunteered at a senior
center, and helped out at a school for homeless children. Teen
Camp is designed to foster leadership and character values. At
Teen Camp
you will have fun, learn and help to make the community a better place.
