Code of Conduct:
We ask that all members and participants refrain from the use
of foul language,
abusive actions and inappropriate behavior. Recognize that
sportsman-like
conduct, fait play and a cooperative attitude should govern their
behavior at all
times.
General Facility Usage:
A shirt and closed-toe athletic shoes must ne worn in all area
except the swimming pool; appropriate athletic attire in required at all
times throughout the facility.
All of our building and programs are Drug-free and smoking or use of
tobacco products are prohibited at all times. Appropriate action
including the police will be taken for persons suspected of substance
abuse while in the facility.
Food and drink are allowed in the lobby area only.
The use of all cellular telephones and devices
with photogenic or video capabilities are prohibited in the restrooms,
locker rooms and childcare change areas. Please use cell phones
reponsibly and silence rings.
Use of photogenic or video equipment may also be restricted in program
areas by staff for the privacy of all members and participants.
Bicylces, skateboards, scooters and skates/blades are not permitted
inside the facility. Bike racks are located outside.
Please report all injuries to the Front Desk.
Pool:
Street shoes are not allowed on the pool deck. Swimming suits
must be worn. All swimmers are required by the Health Department to
shower before entering the pool.
Children under 7 years of age or who are unable to swim on their own
must be accompanied in the water by an adult over 18 years. Food is not
allowed in the pool area.
Gym:
Only water is allowed in the gym
Locker Rooms:
Complimentary lockers are available for use to all members and programs
participants while they are using the facility. You must provide your
own lock. Locks must be removed upon exiting the facility.
The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
Inquiries regarding lost and found items may be made at the
Front Desk.
Members can rent a small locker for $5.00 per Month.
Youth 5 years and older must use the appropriate locker rooms.
Cardio/Fitness & Free Weight Rooms:
Youth members (12 years) must complete a Fitness Orientation before they
will be permitted to use the cardio and weight equipment. They must be
acoompanied by a parent during the Fitness Orientation and when using
the weight and cardio equipment.
Teen members (13-18 years) must complete a Fitness Orientation before
they are allowed to use the weight and cardio equipment.
The YMCA encourages individuals who are pregnant, over 55, have any
history of high blood pressure, heart disease or recovering from any
long-term illness or injury to consult their doctor before starting a
new fitness program. Some classes and/or program may require a
medical release from a doctor.
The YMCA does not carry insurance on members, guests or program
participants.
Please Note: It is your responsibility to check on the availability of
the facilities. Changes in scheduled activities may occur without prior
notice. Current schedules are available
at the Front Desk. The YMCA is subject to closures due to
facility maintenance. In this case, every effort will be made to inform
the public in advance.
